About Slayde

This handsome blue boy is Slayde. He is 4 years old, about 49 pounds, and he does have his tail (it's just behind him in the photo). Slayde was someone's best pal, but his person passed away. A Good Samaritan stepped in to foster him and help find Slayde a new home. Slayde knows his basics: sit, stay, and load up into the truck. Slayde is house trained and crate trained. He does need his water regulated since he can have a weak bladder. Pick up the water...no issues! Slayde is good with men and women. He has not been around kids. Slayde is fine with other polite dogs who don't invade his space. He likes a polite introduction and then is good. That said, his ideal home has Slayde as the one and only. After all, he adores his person and doesn't think he should have to share. Slayde is a fantastic sidekick. He is awesome in the truck and has been the co-pilot on many road trips. He also loves to fetch. He is good on leash and does best with a harness. He can be leash reactive when he sees other dogs, but this can be managed and fixed with training. Slayde is best pal, total sidekick material. He is very sweet and has a lot of personality. He will even appreciate more training and direction. He loves to use his mind! Slayde is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Hollister, CA. Adopters must be able to make it to Hollister to meet and adopt. We do not ship our dogs.
