About Luna

Luna German Wirehaired Pointer, Born 4.18.20 Current weight: 37lbs; expected to grow to ~45lbs Our sweet Luna is in need of a new home. Luna is a smart, highly trainable, athletic, outdoorsy, loyal, and social girl. We are looking for a new forever home for her because she is also timid and anxious, and the combination of this anxiety with our young, rowdy boys in a smaller city apartment is not a good one for her. She has a history of guarding spaces, food & objects, so will need a gentle, experienced hand to work with her, build trust, and condition her effectively. She will be happiest in a more spacious home, ideally with a large, fenced yard or ranch, no young children, active and experienced dog-owning adults, and lots of opportunities for off-leash outdoor time. Luna is house-trained, spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She sleeps each night in her crate. She graduated from puppy training school (at SF Puppy Prep). She is great at many commands - recall, sit, stay, down, touch, etc.
