About Bentley

This breaks my heart to even post.. but i need to find urgently a forever home for a 2 year old stubborn pitty boy ( Bentley)who is fear aggressive and has dominance issues so he needs to be the only dog in the home.( guards his toys,treats and bones) He is so sweet to my immediate family and some of my sons friends that hes gotten use to &the dogs he has been around in his home. But not very good around other dogs/strangers. Very protective of his home/people. He hasnt been socialized enough and doesn't really like/trust most males. He has been around kids and teens, but i think he would be better with no kids/pets in home until he got some training. He doesn't really know how to walk on leash and pulls.. he is small but strong (60lb). He has to have privacy fence! (because he knows how to jump chainlink and loves to do that and explore/ try to bark at stuff)so for the last year he has had to be tied on lead to go potty/play..this just isn't fair for him and he needs the proper exercise and training so he can be a great boy..he has alot of energy(hes 2) and isn't getting proper care at my sons home..they are college age and just don't have the means to train him or the time.. he is fixedµchipped.(needs his 2 year shots)I will be extremely picky about who he goes to bc we love him so much and want someone who will train/work with him and give him the love and attn he deserves..he is stubborn but so smart and sweet once he trusts.he is potty trained and has used crate when little but we never crate anymore so he probably wouldn't like it, he sleeps with my sons at night and loves to cuddle in your lap... loves to go on car rides and knows some commands. I am asking a small rehoming fee to make sure he will be taken care of properly . we will want to still check on him and get updates/pics because my boys are heartbroken we have to rehome.. i just feel we have failed him and want him better socialized and exercised.. he needs fenced yard and a firm owner who will be willing to work with him.
