Welcome Max to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 1.5-year-old Pit Bull/Staffordshire dog. He is very active and fun. He would be best with an active family. Someone who has owned an active dog or a Pittie would be his best home. He has a large head and very lean body. We will be neutering him soon so I suppose he will fill out and his body will expand some. He is good with other dogs but can be a bit much on the activity level. He will be fine as an only dog. Due to his energy level he would be best with a fenced yard so some of his energy can be burned off in the yard. He would love to join a hiker, runner, jogger or outdoor enthusiast family. He can be with kids as he has a great temperament. Due to his energy level, we would recommend 10 or older. He wants to learn and even though he looks tough, he has the marshmallow personality of this breed. He was pulled off the euthanasia list of Kerrville. This is a high kill shelter that fills up and gets on red alert. They called CCPAL to step up for his nice boy so we stepped up to find him the perfect forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to deliver him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 185.
