About Baloo

Hi there, I'm Baloo! I'm a 2 year old Australian Shepherd! My foster mom thinks I'm pretty cool. I hadn't had much socialization before living with my foster mom, so I'm a little weary of people at first, but once I get to know you I'm as loyal as can be. I've had to learn how to fend for myself before being rescued, so that can make me a little guarded around some other dogs and my resources, but don't let that scare you - I just need an owner who will be patient with me and give me a chance to overcome my past. I have so much love to give! I'm really in need of an owner who can give me their love, time, and attention. I'm a herding dog in need of a job. Some training would do me well! I'm already potty trained and crate trained and have so much potential! Some things I enjoy are playing tug of war, squeaky toys, and playing with my foster sister outside. I am very loving, happy, and super cuddly. When my foster mom comes home I always let out a nice big 'arooo' to let her know how excited I am to see her! I hope you will take a chance on me, I'm looking for my life-long best friend! Baloo will require a tall (6ft+) privacy fence.
