Meet Scooby Poor Scooby. This boy has tried so hard, but he just can't seem to find the right family. Originally, he was rescued from a high kill shelter. Then he was adopted along with a doggie friend from the shelter. A terrible tragedy recently happened to his friend, leaving Scooby grieving and lost without his companion. Scooby wasn't able to voice his sadness and anxiety. He needed to be shown compassion to help him adjust to loss of his friend, but instead of helping Scooby heal, he was returned. Now he's more confused than ever, but he's trying to be brave. He's been nothing but a love to the staff and volunteers. Scooby is a sweet terrier mix He's about three years old. He has a beautiful caramel colored coat and earnest eyes that draw you in. He's a good boy with a joyful personality. Scooby loves attention and will smother you with kisses. He loves being petted. Scooby does well with other dogs and may do best with a doggy playmate. He seems indifferent to cats. Scooby is house-trained, crate trained, and walks very well on a leash. He enjoys walking and loves playing fetch and tug of war. He needs a fenced yard to run around. He has a lot of energy and both he and his family will be happiest if Scooby is exercised. If you're looking to give a young, beautiful, well-behaved and sweet dog a forever home, Scooby may be for you. He's such a love bug and will make for a great companion.
