About Spud

With deep regrets we are in need to re-home Spud. He is a Pittie Mix that picked me about 5+ years ago at an animal adoption. I agreed to foster him and we ended up being a foster fail. My husband went and signed the paperwork. Spud was found tied to a tree, hungry with signs of being used as a bait dog. We have always had a house full of dogs and he fit right in. But then one night he turned on one that was recently diagnosed with cancer. We assumed it was because the other dog was sick was the reason for the attack. Unfortunately it was not - he would look at one of the other dogs, his eyes would glaze over and I was pulling him off the other dog. We have lived in a house divided for a few years but there has been times when he would get in the same room, or though a door and attack one of out other pets. Our family loves him and hopes he finds a home where he is the only dog and with adults. He has been great with kids but I could not live with myself if he ever hurt one. Please - he is a good out on walks, loves car rides and great to let you know somebody is at your home. Please help me find him a loving safe home where he can be somebodies best friend.
