About Mordu

Mordu is a BEAUTIFUL almost completely solid black (very very small white patch on his chest lol) 18 month old German Shepherd mix We've not been able to find the right human for him!! He's been returned AGAIN :( That's 3 times!! He's a SWEET SWEET boy but as is typical for GSD's, is VERY high energy! He's great on walks and hikes and while not lake tested, jumps right in a small pool He gets a little obnoxious when bored, will cruise counters if allowed and can be a little grabby at the leash or anything flapping though not in an aggressive manner - we've been working with him and while he will slip a little when excited, he's come a very long way! He's very anxious to please and is extremely smart - while he needs and looks to his human for direction, with the right human he should excel. His human will need to continue working with him! He will need to be supervised around small children - he's very bouncy and isn't very careful yet. With proper exercise and continued work, he'll easily grow out of that. Mordu is housebroken, crate trained, sleeps all night tho is up with the sun lol, sits and waits for dinner but is very vocal if waiting for other dogs to go first, allows toy and food handling, non-reactive to most dogs and so far has little interest in the barn cats, tho there's a fence separating them! If a car runs he will chase tho not to really catch. He is neutered, utd on all shots and chipped He weighs about 65 pounds and is slender - We expect him to be around 75 pounds when full grown, maybe a bit more.
