Homer is about 11-1/2 years old. He's a terrier mix and is *not a small dog* (we are just guessing at his breed).. While he's 'not tall' and seems small, please note he's about 38 pounds with just a few to lose. His perfect medium weight will be right around 33-34 pounds. Homer's papa was in assisted living where Homer was able to stay with him until recently. The situation changed and he could no longer receive care at the facility which landed him with caring person who is now fostering him and has connected with us. Being a fine senior fellow, he prefers a calm household. He does like to go for daily walks, he wants his people to be home all the time (he does enjoy retired people and believes this lifestyle is what he deserves.... in his retirement years -- he's worked hard to earn them). Homer probably should not have children in the home -- he doesn't like to be taken by surprise and doesn't like fast moving people. He really just wants to take it easy and not have to be prepared for kids running up to play with him. Homer is in foster care with two other dogs but it's taken him a while to adjust to them. We believe he'd be happiest as your one and only. He'd like a house with a yard and would like grass and flowers as he likes to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. If you fit the bill, please email [email protected] . We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Adoption fee for Homer is $225.00. He is neutered, vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped.
