American Bulldog / Lab

Meet Jackson This handsome and regal dog is named Jackson. We rescued Jackson from a high-kill shelter. He was put on his Freedom Ride for Life and arrived on October 10, 2020. Jackson is a 2.5 year-old Labrador Retriever/Bulldog mix. He's medium size at 51 lbs. He is incredibly handsome with his chocolate brown and white coat. Jackson has expressive and intelligent eyes and a friendly personality. We think he'll be good with other dogs, but will need to test him to be sure. He loves going on long walks. He also loves running around the yard. Helping Jackson work off his energy will be important for his happiness and his family's happiness. This boy is up for adventure. He's going to make for a terrific hiking or running buddy. As a young dog, Jackson could benefit from some training. We're already working with him, and he's a quick study. We expect once he settles in, he'll calm down. He loves being with people and is very affectionate. Jackson is also house-trained. Jackson is not a fan of cats, and will need to be placed in a home without them. If you're looking for a great young dog to welcome to your family, Jackson might be the one. He is a really good, solid kind of dog who will make for an incredible companion. Call 706-865-4135 for information on additional health services provided as part of the adoption fee.
