Meet JK This handsome young dog is amazing! JK was rescued from a high-kill shelter. He is a sweet, sweet boy. Thought to be a boxer/hound mix, JK is about a year old and weighs 68 pounds currently, but still needs to gain 4-5 pounds to be at his ideal weight. He loves being with people and playing with other dogs. He carries himself with confidence. He's an outgoing doggo and welcomes attention. JK is house-broken, walks well on a leash and is just waiting for his forever home. JK will chase chickens and ducks, and most likely kitties. He will not be able to go to a home with them. It seems he may have lost his original home when he went after the fowl on the farm. JK has great energy and will make for a great hiking or running buddy. He's up for adventure and will love to be someone's best, most loyal companion. If you're looking to welcome an incredible young dog to your heart and home, JK may be for you. He sure has captured the attention of our staff and volunteers with his warm and bubbly personality.
