About Ivy

Ivy is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix who is looking for an extra loving forever family to call her own. After shutting down at the shelter sweet Ivy was moved into a foster home. We realized quickly that Ivy was pregnant and then she gave birth to 4 adorable puppies. Now Ivy is healed and in search of her forever home. Ivy is sweetest most affection dog but as the saying goes good things come to those who wait. Ivy is slow to warm up but once she does, she has a lot of love to give. Ivy is good with all types of dogs and she likes to play with doggie siblings once a day when she gets the zoomies, though she is most interested in human friends. Ivy loves walks, car rides, couch snuggling, and most of all treats. She is potty trained and will sleep on the couch. She can be left for hours roaming the house without being destructive. Ivy would do best in a home that will give her the time she needs to adjust and the patience to work through some behaviors. Ivy struggles with separation anxiety and she likes to nibble on hair and arms. Ivy also happens to be good with chickens and quite the little farmhand. Ivy is good with children as young as 1 year old who are being raised to be gentle, loving pet parents. Ivy also knows how to use a dog door. This smart gal knows how to sit and would love to learn more. Ivy weighs in full grown at 26 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
