Posted 6/15/18, and pictures updated 10/13/20. Karma was surrendered on 4/3/18. Karma's owner moved to an apartment that has breed restrictions, after not being able to find a place to live that would accept Karma. She had a short time to find somewhere for Karma to go, and before I could meet them to take Karma, she had chewed through the bathroom door while her owner was gone. She is crate trained, but she chewed the corner of her plastic crate tray, and chewed the black wire bars. A heavy duty crate should be able to contain her. She has separation anxiety. I was told that she is good with other dogs, but I have found out while she has been here, that she is selective in which dogs she will be good around, so she may do well to continue to be an only pet. She does like to jump up on me, LOVES people, is energetic, wants to be in the front seat when riding in a vehicle. I would not put her around smaller children because of her jumping and energy level. She did not try to climb or dig out from a 4 foot fenced area we first put her in, but did climb out of a different 4 foot fenced area, until we fixed it to where she can't climb out. She does hop up and down with her front legs like a kangaroo while behind a fence when she wants to get attention. I was told she is 5 years old, and I had her spayed on 4/6/18 weighing 42 pounds. As of 10/16/20, she weighs 60 pounds. Her adoption requires a fenced yard, and a home visit, along with a vet reference.
