Paul and Ringo have a friendship full of light, fun, and love...they are always together and are truly a bonded pair! These boys play with toys or just keep wrestling and romping around making funny noises. They are independent as long as they have each other. They can also entertain kids for hours, be ready for a lot of running and laughter. Any children in the home should be at least 8 years old and of a responsible and respectful nature. Paul & Ringo are gentle, very docile with kids and yet full of energy. They also get along well with adults and other dogs, but for their adoptive home, it would be recommended that they are the only two dogs in the home in order to maintain their current dynamic. Paul & Ringo are spontaneous, always ready for what's next, and they seem immediately comfortable with their surroundings and new people. That said, they still may take a short while to adjust to their new home. Their request is that they have a spacious house with nice backyard for run and play time. Grass is needed as they're not fond of running on cement, pavers, and gravel. They would love an active family -- they enjoy walks but jogging is their sport (always leashed for the walks and jogs). They do need a little more training on the leash but are thrilled with the process. Ringo is the super mellow one of this pair. He enjoys cuddling while you read a book or watch tv. Paul will join in after checking the whole house to make sure no intruders got in; then he will relax. Ringo rarely barks and Paul is more vocal (but not in an annoying fashion) - he'll surely let you know when someone is at the door. This sweet pair does sleep together, so please, one nice sized bed for two! There have been no accidents in their foster home so they are housebroken (but still will need a slight adjustment period to make sure they know the 'where's' and rules of their new home). Adoption fee for the pair is $520.00. They are a cairn terrier mix, 2 years old; Ringo weights 11 pounds and Paul is 14 pounds - they are full grown. Both boys are neutered, vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped, and will go to their new together-forever home each with their own collar and ID tag, harness and leash. With no adoption events right now, we can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.
