About Charlie

Charlie is smart, curious, and full of energy and affection. She is approximately 7-8 years old and was adopted from the Humane Society in 2014. She is house trained and knows several commands (sit, stay, come, lie down, shake, off). She completed in-home training with Bark Busters in 2018. Charlie thrives on lots of exercise and a lot of consistency from her owner. She is best suited for a household without children. Charlie is fairly dominant, so she does not always get along with other dogs. However, we have had no problem with her being with friends' dogs on several occasions. Charlie can be anxious and benefits from a calm and consistent environment. She loves attention and cuddling, is smart and eager to please. We are not able to dedicate the time and attention to Charlie that she deserves because of our growing family. She has been an amazing dog though, traveling with us on long road trips, hiking, camping, and lots of snuggle time.
