About Ivy

Adoption Fee: $300.00
Chihuahua mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Ivy is a goofy little lady with plenty of spunk hidden behind a timid exterior. She is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix that weighs 11.5 pounds full grown. Ivy came from a hoarding house and is still adjusting to life as a 'normal' dog, so she needs a family willing to give her all the time she needs to warm up to them and adjust to their home and lifestyle. She loves other dogs and must have at least one playful canine companion in her forever home. Her leash walking and potty training skills are still a work in progress, and she needs a securely fenced in yard to run around in. Ivy loves to play with toys once she feels comfortable and needs plenty of appropriate chew toys or she will find things to chew on that she shouldn't. She has never been around kids that we know of, but may do well with older, dog savvy kids who respect her personal space. Once Ivy is comfortable with you, she loves to give kisses and cuddle up in bed. She is spayed , up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $3 00 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt her come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
