We found Gambit on the side of the road, severely underweight, chained to a post with two open sores on his head and have been fostering him ever since. The vet suggested he may have been used as a bait dog. Gambit, as we came to name him, is wonderful with people, but doesn't play well with other animals. He is very sweet and also protective. He is low key when in the house with his owners but can be energetic outside or when guests arrive! He does have skin allergies, which we have been treating since we found him. He is both house-trained and crate-trained and follows simple commands like sit, stay, paw, bedtime, and eat. Unfortunately, my newborn baby is allergic to him. He has to be kept separated and he is not getting the attention he deserves. On top of this, it is getting rather expensive to continue fostering. He needs care we are not able to provide him, as we both work long hours. We are looking for a forever home for Gambit. Please let me know if you'd be willing to give him a good home.
