Name:Auora Age:�%A0 �%A0 7-12 yrs old Breed:�%A0Mix Sex:�%A0 12.6# (female) not spayed Location:�%A0 California Vet Info: Not UTD on vaccinations. No HW test done. Good samaritan reports: Aurora has 3 teeth, but is able to eat well. She has some 'lumps' on her back the vetinarian says they are just fat deposits. Overall she doesn't seem to have any chronic pain. Owner Info: According to the Good Samaritan who found her, Aurora was in the middle of the street. 'She had been dumped or escaped a neglectful home. The vet estimates she is between 7-12 years old. Her fur was matted and full of fleas. She had ear and eye infections, and the vetinarian believes she is completely blind. Although she does still manage to get around. She is also missing part of her front right paw due to a birth defect or injury.' Aurora is described as an indoor dog that has the run of the house. She is not house broken or leash trained. She is described as nervous and shy. She is reported to be good with women and teenagers, male dogs and cats. It is reported that when she is scared, she will growl. Aurora's caregiver reports: When she was at the emergency veterinarian and getting shaved and trimmed she did not it like it and growled and nipped at them. 'She (Aurora) has growled and nipped at people if she is scared or startled. She did bite one of my daughters friends, but didn't break the skin.' 'She (Aurora) did take a few days to warm up to us when we first found her. But I do feel she has the capability to be successfully re-homed. For the most part she is a sweet natured girl.' 'Aurora is a sweet girl who requires more attention then we are able to provide.
