About Brutus

Meet Brutus! He is a wide-eyed, large over 12 # tabby guy. He has a sad story like many foster kitties. A family saw he was living outside as a kitten and took him into their home. They treated him like one of the family. Other tenants said he was a good, quiet kitty, looked healthy and playful. Something changed. His family moved, and put Brutus back outside after being inside for 6 or 7 months. He thought he was good kitty. He didn't think he did anything wrong. No food, no water, and no family. He was on his own once again, neglected. Brutus became very frightened fending for himself once again with little to no skills for day to day outside life. A lady in the area lost her kitty, who dashed outside. In efforts to find her kitty, she set traps and left food out daily to catch her kitty again. Her trap caught a large kitty, Brutus! The lady took him to a vet for care, flea medication and a check -up. He was once again inside a home. However, the lady continued to look for her special kitty, and surrendered Brutus to Snow Camp. He is very happy to have a foster home with people that love him very much. They have been very patient with Brutus. Teaching him to trust and love once again. Brutus needs a permanent home to be fair to him. The foster family would like to continue helping other kitties as well. Brutus would prefer to be an only kitty, so you can see it is time for him to have a permanent home of his own. His best home would be with women and no young kids. He needs a kind, patience, gentle person or couple to let him bloom in their home so he doesn't have to deal with new foster kitties. Brutus has so much love to give! He enjoys scratches, petting and playing with small toys, socks, and stuffed animals that he likes to kangaroo kicks. His life is so happy during play and petting time. His large eyes light up! You can hear the purrs of joy. He will engage you and make you part of his family, and adore the ground you walk on, once he is comfortable. Our rescue follows Covid safe protocols when delivering our kitties, so you are safe and so are our fosters. We would love to chat about our beautiful big guy. We offer a three to four week trial adoption. We don't want you to keep our precious Brutus if you are not falling in love with him.
