About Oreo

This handsome dude is looking for a lifetime of love with a forever family of his very own. Oreo is a house trained 10 month old, 33 lb Border Collie mix whose favorite things include being snuggled, cuddled, & loved on, running around the backyard, playing catch, or chasing a frisbee, chewing on his squeaky toys (the strong/durable ones ), and of course, belly rubs. Oreo is a very loving and affectionate boy who bonds quickly and closely with his humans. (You'll have a cute shadow following you around the house!) He does have separation anxiety, so he needs a home with a patient and gentle family where someone is around during the day. He goes into his crate on his own for naps (with the door open), but if he's home alone, he becomes very anxious and tries to get out. His new family should have experience with herding dogs, as well as an understand of how to deal with separation anxiety. When meeting strangers in the home, he will growl initially but settles very quickly and before you know it, he's giving his new friend a million kisses. Oreo gets along very well with other dogs ( another pup may help with his separation anxiety) and he's very good with the kids in his foster home. We don't know about cats.
