*** PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO BEFORE APPLYING * * * * Honey & Baby are 3-year-old terrier mix sisters, a perfect medium size of 30-35 pounds, with a relatively calm demeanor. They are very sweet girls who are totally house broken and eager to learn more. Their original owner wasn't in a position to do much training so they will greatly benefit from a good training program. The girls enjoy their trips to the yard for their potty breaks - they appreciate the sunshine, LOVE squeak toys, have a craving for carrots, and enjoy playing or lounging with each other‰'Û| they are the best of pals. Honey is gazelle-like and a bit of a clown (she's the honey colored gal) and is the dominant sister. Baby (lighter in color) is more on the quiet side but has her coy side working for her when she decides to steal food or a toy from her sister. ÝÙ÷S Both girls seem to enjoy going for walks but they're not the best role models on a leash. They do okay but with some practice with this, they'll be champs at this soon enough, just in time to make you proud during cool weather walks. They are already champs at counter surfing and pride themselves at finding some food you might forget to put away. So, some training for them would be great on this, and some training for you, don't leave out your favorite coffee cake. Honey & Baby are not a candidate for an apartment, condo, or townhome setting. They must have their own yard for run and play time, some grass is recommended. The girls should be the only two dogs in the home and there should be no cats. Children in the home would be okay but they must be a minimum of 12 years old and of a respectful and responsible nature. These sweet sister sleep in their dog beds (not crates) and are trusted around the house. Baby has a specific 'I have to go out NOW!' bark - even if it's 2am and she has an urgent matter, she'll let you know. They should be put on a good and steady schedule of potty breaks. Their original owner was retired so the dogs are accustomed to having their humans around all the time. They will not do well in a situation where the humans are gone for the bulk of the day, and would do best in a calm to mid-level energy home. Adoption fee for the pair is $460.00. They are spayed, health checked, vaccinated, and microchipped. They'll go to their new home with collars and ID tags, plus a harness and leash for each. With no adoption events right now, please email for an application if you'd like to meet them. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application.
