About Riley

This fun girl is Riley, a Catahoula/Australian Shepherd mix who is about a year and a half old. She weighs 40 pounds. Riley is looking for a home that can keep her busy. Click on the red YouTube button to see her happily rolling in the grass. Riley knows her basics. She knows sit and stay. She is mostly house trained and also crate trained, so will definitely need reinforcement. If you ask, she will give you a kiss! Riley is good with men and women. She is good with kids, but no small kids since she could knock them over with her excitement. Riley is good with medium and large dogs. She loves to play and would appreciate a dog pal who plays with gusto! Riley also likes small dogs, but small dogs simply find Riley to be overwhelming. That said, when it comes to her home life, she would likely do best as an only dog. Riley is a girl ready for adventure. She is good on leash and is good on car rides. She would love to hike, camp, jog, mountain bike...anything fun. She also likes to play fetch. Riley does have a habit of jumping up onto people to say hi. She is learning that this isn't the best way to greet people. Her new home will need to reinforce that. Finally, when the day of fun is over, Riley likes to snuggle. She is best friend material for someone who is on the go and wants a dog who can keep up. Riley is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Riley is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. We do not ship our dogs.
