About Benny

Meet Benny. He is a handsome, 2 year old purebred Rottweiler. He will definitely require a specialized placement. Benny is good with most people. He is good on a leash, however, he is averse to the leash going under his body. He will react negatively when that happens. Also, he is fine when putting the leash on, but will often react negatively when trying to take the leash off. He is not the biggest fan of being pet by new people, especially on the head, but once he knows and trusts you he is very affectionate (though he still has a head sensitivity). He is not an 'aggressive' dog, but he does have certain triggers that cause him to react negatively. We are hoping to find an experienced Rotty owner who understands the breed and their temperament. Because of his specific needs, we don't believe that Benny will ever be the stereotypical family dog, and probably needs a home with only one or two adults.
