About Penny

Penny is a 10-month old Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund mix that weighs 12 lbs. Her previous owner never walked her and kept her in a crate almost 24 hrs a day. She reached out to one of our friends and we took her into our group. She is very shy when you first meet her. Penny will need a patient and experienced owner to show her the world is not a scary place. Although fearful and slow to trust new people, Penny is not aggressive. Once she gets to know you, she is the sweetest little snuggle girl. Penny is super playful with lots of puppy energy. She loves running around the yard and play with toys. Lots of toys! She especially enjoys playing fetch with small toys that make a crinkly sound. Penny likes playing with her Foster family's two dogs (one big, one small) and would do best in a home with another playful dog.
