Hi, I'm Teo! Some super awesome people recently rescued me off the side of the road in Istanbul. They think I may have had a family before, but they don't know why I am not with them anymore, because I am always so good. I was fortunate when they saw me because so many dogs like me live on the streets as all shelters are so poor and underfunded. When my rescuers showed up to our street to give us some food and much needed medical attention, they saw me sitting in the corner all alone. I guess they saw how much I just wanted a forever home that I could call my own because they told me their hearts just melted when they saw me, so they scooped me right up and promised me I would have one soon! This made me happy. Once I realized I was safe, I started eating more, and I am getting healthier and stronger! The more they got to know me, they found out that I am a one-year-old mixed breed; they think I may be a Hound and Mountain Curr mix, or a Lab...but my personality is more like a Poodle because I can be a little fragile haha. They saw how much I love the world around me and make people happy by behaving well! I don't even jump into my own bed unless I am told to, but man oh man, I LOVE those belly rubs once I am there. I also love to snuggle up for some good cuddles... is there a thing as too many cuddles?... I didn't think so either! I heard my potential gotcha day is coming up because I leave to come to JFK airport on October 4th! I hope I get to dress up for Halloween with my new family! My rescuers did such a great job getting me ready for my forever home. They made sure my bloodwork looked perfect, that I am up to date on all my shots, that I got neutered, and that I will have a safe flight before I go to my new home in the United States! My adoption fee is to help pay for some of these services, so my amazing rescuers can keep saving more dogs just like me! I am ready to meet my new family, and I hope they are prepared to meet me! After they receive your message, they will contact you to fill out a questionnaire. My rescuers love my friends and me so much that they like to stay in touch to make sure our new homes are the best fit for us so, updated pictures of me after arrival and settling in will be required...besides, I like to brag about my new forever family, why wouldn't I.. they are pretty incredible people :)
