Ginger is an 11-year old special needs female that is ready for her forever foster home. She is down in her pasterns and has some arthritis in her hips and back. Her congenital condition does affect her mobility. Ginger will walk for a short way and then lay down to rest - walk then rest, walk/rest. She has had dramatic improvement with pain medication which will need to be continued for her lifetime. She is also overweight and losing is a challenge because of mobility issues. Her current foster does water therapy to help and Ginger enjoys that. Ginger does well in a crate (aside from the loud snoring), is housetrained and gets along with other polite dogs that stay out of her space. She'll need a home with no cats. If you think your home may be the perfect place for Ginger to land, please email us at: [email protected] to tell us about yourself. There is financial assistance to cover Ginger's expenses.
