About PRISCILLA

Priscilla is an amazing girl who deserves a family to call her own. Priscilla became stressed in the shelter environment, we have had her at The Mannered Mutt to help her become less reactive to other dogs and help her gain the confidence she needs to succeed. Paulina, her trainer, wrote this wonderful bio on her. All she needs is a chance. 'Are you looking for a fun dog? Are you looking for a fun sized dog? Well look no further! Priscilla is your girl. She is adorable! Not only is she adorable but she is brilliantly smart and loves to play. Her favorite game (besides playing in water) is what we call 'raccoon hands' and she loves to bat around her toys and bat at your hands and feet. Priscilla is extremely fun loving and affectionate. Through no fault of her own, she found herself at AAR - Abandoned Animal Rescue. The shelter has done an extraordinary job caring for her, however, it's not a home environment. The increase in activity levels and stimulation at the facility caused her to make some poor choices due to stress and overstimulation. I think all of us can relate to being stressed and being a bit edgy. Priscilla came to The Mannered Mutt for training and has done beautifully. She wants to please and loves an active routine. At The Mannered Mutt, we have spent a lot of time with this girl, evaluating her and assessing her adoptability. There is NO reason why she cannot or should not thrive in a home environment. Priscilla would do best with an active familing who loves to take her with them and would love to go running, biking, kayaking and camping. She wants to be in the mix of things. While not living out her dream of adventure or beach dog, Priscilla would love to have a soft spot on the couch to watch movies and eat snacks. Her favorite snacks currently are McDonald's french fries (low on salt). She also enjoys a cheeseburger and she takes it very gently. Through Priscilla's training, she has mastered obedience cues including sit, down, please, stay, calm, heel and off. This girl deserves nothing but the best. We feel that she would do best in a home with a similarly sized, more laid-back dog or, ideally, an only dog. We want her to be the center of someone's world.' Priscilla is by appointment only.
