Medical notes: 9/8/20 Musculoskeletal exam was minimal as dog was painful, specifically near thoracic spine and would vocalize when manipulated. Appears QAR, appears to be eating. Rads were performed at AEC with no fractures or other obvious injuries noted. Deep pain intact on HLs- good to guarded prognosis for return to function. RO soft tissue trauma vs. IVDD ACT: rotate sides Rx: carprofen- 25mg- 1/2 PO BID x10d ($3) Rx: gabapentin- 100mg- 1 PO BID x10d ($3) Recommend ASAP rescue for further care NS 09/08/20 15:46 Dog was feed twice and ate all of canned food Had a formed bowel movement also has alot of foxtails MP/DH 09/08/20 05:47 Per AEC vet, dog needs further treatment, IV catherter was left in place. Has wound on left eye Head and face looks awkward, Moved food closer, he ate canned food right away, urinated on himself but can stand for a moment DH 09/07/20 18:29 Went to AEC for HBC. Was unable to walk. Per rp was found laying in the middle of the road. ddp
