About MASON

I am potentially looking for a new home for Mason but I am in no hurry as long as I can find him the right home. He is a healthy spayed 5 years old mini aussie and about 26 lbs. He has shown signs of not being suited to be around other dogs (or pets) or small children. He has growled and snapped but never bitten anyone. He always barks when he hears unfamiliar voices or sounds. He is very skittish of the outside world but he is very loving and playful. Mason is not the right dog for you if you are looking for a well-rounded family pet and that you can take places with you. We all love Mason dearly (and all of his quirks) and hoped to all grow old together. However, I currently have 2 other dogs (Mason is our middle dogchild) and (surprise) 21 month old twin boys. Unfortunately, Mason is having a particular hard time adjusting to the twins being mobile and for everyone's safety, he is having to spend extra time in his crate. By the way, along with being a avid thief/chewer of anything left on the floor unattended, Mason is a master jumper. There has not been a gate that he cannot clear. Mason will do best as an only pet in a quiet home with adults or older children who can give him lots of love and cuddles (preferably indoors). I would like for Mason to go to the right home, therefore prospective owners must be open having conversations and a few visits so we can both figure out if he would be the right fit for you.
