About Milo

Adoption Fee: $300
Cairn mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet precious Milo! Milo was surrendered to us after a death in his owner's family. He is a 3 year old, 12 pound terrier mix. Milo is a super sweet boy who can initially be nippy if he is scared. He will need someone to understand it will take him a couple of days to relax and trust you. Once he realizes you are his friend, he becomes the most snuggly dog ever! Milo just needs kindness and love and then he's a happy boy! Milo lived with another dog in his previous home and would be good in a home with another dog, but he would be fine as an only dog too. If he is in a home with another dog it should be a female his size or smaller, but once he adjusts and attaches to his person they get all of his attention! He follows his foster mom around like a puppy! He is the type of dog who would be perfectly content to sit on someone's lap all day long and sleeps snuggled up in the big bed at night. He has not been cat tested and cannot be in a home with kids. Milo is working on his potty training and knows how to use a doggy door. He does mark, but he is in a home with a lot of dogs and we think his potty training will go well once he is in a different home. A fenced yard is required for Milo. Once he loves you he will stay with you, but we don't want to take a chance in that first day or two while he gets used to his new family and home! Milo has had a 3 year 5-way shot, and a 3 year rabies vaccine. He is neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. He is a super sweet boy who will be a great companion for someone with lots of love to give him! If you would like a cuddly, loyal little lap dog to love on please submit an adoption application for review!
