About Pepper

Hi, I'm Pepper! I'm a female, 4 year old, 70 pound, Pit Bull Labrador Mix in need of a loving home. I've been spayed and I have all my shots. My owner can't foster me any longer because he is trying to move in with his S/O who owns a cat. I grew up in an abusive environment so I don't get along with other dogs. I love every human that I meet. If you let me, I will crawl into your lap and never leave. I'm very responsive and easy to train because I love treats. I've been trained to respond to Sit, Stay, Come and Leave it. I love to walk and hike but I need to be muzzled just in case another dog approaches me. I get along great with kids and I love to play. I know how to walk on a leash and will stay by your hip as long as you ask me to. I love the water and everything in the outdoors. Car rides make me nervous because it's overly stimulating but my owner will provide a doggy blindfold that makes car rides a breeze. My owner will provide absolutely everything needed to live with me so all you will have to buy is my food. I eat Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin Salmon and Rice formula. I'm currently in California but my owner is willing to take me anywhere in the US if it means I will have a good home.
