About Ivy

This beautiful mixed breed dog is 3 years old and weighs in at 50 pounds. She is a Bernese Mountain Dog / Lab / Pit mix. Ivy was placed in a home a little over a year ago, but is not adapting to living with cats. Things have escalated a couple of times, and the kitties are just not safe. Ivy has lived with one other dog, but would likely do just fine as an only dog. We would recommend older children due to inexperience. She hasn't lived with kiddos. Ivy is crate trained and house trained, but does get a bit nervous around fireworks and storms. We wonder if a thundershirt would help her. She likes to cuddle and snuggle with her people. Ivy loves playing fetch, but also likes to 'retire' the tennis ball after playing. She is fairly quiet and just beautiful in person. Her picture does her no justice.
