MICHELLE HAS BEEN ADOPTABLE FOR 18 MONTHS AND NO ONE HAS CHOSEN HER! It's time to make finding a home for Michelle our top priority! One of our favorite volunteers has SPONSORED her adoption fee! Let's share her far and wide and help her find a happy ending! Transport within reasonable driving distance may be available too! Have you always dreamed of having a beautiful girl what you can dress in frilly things? Now you can impress your friends with a pitbull adorned in bows and lace! Michelle is a 6-8 year old pitbull terrier who weighs about 60 pounds. She is a quirky, smart and fun girl who knows what she likes....and doesn't! Michelle wants to watch tv on your couch and look out your window to see what she can see! She has plenty of energy to strut around the neighborhood making you look good and is calm enough to snuggle up for a weekend of Netflix and chill! We were thinking that Michelle wants to be an only child but....she has been playing with a male doggie in her foster home! We do not think she can live with cats but she may be able to share a home with a nice male dog. She is crate trained and house trained and has excellent indoor manners! A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Michelle, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs! (Michelle's fee is SPONSORED!) Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
