About Newman

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Newman wandered into a trap at a southern suburb's business.%BC The trap was meant for a raccoon. I guess it was the raccoon's lucky day! Somebody that volunteers with our organization works there and gave us a call. We brought him to one of our locations and had planned on getting him fixed. Well, his ear was tipped, so we knew he was previously fixed. This poor guy had been through the ringer. He was really dirty and pretty skinny. With some love, good eats and a lot of brushing he cleaned up to be a dapper young guy! Newman did test positive for FIV. That's OK though! He can live a long, healthy life just like a negative cat. Also FIV positive cats can live harmoniously with negative cats. As long as they are friendly with each other there's not a chance of passing the virus on. FIV can only%BC%BC be passed through deep bite wounds. See attached flyer for more information.%BC * We respond to all emails. Please be sure to check your junk/spam/promotions email boxes *
