Please read entire description. Duke's adoption fee is $100. If interested, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. Duke is about 4 years old and weighs 50 pounds. He has spent some time in a foster home and we have learned some things about him after he went unclaimed after a local car accident. Duke has been doing well in home with fosters and he is very loved! They have been taking him out on runs and he is a happy pup. He would enjoy being someone's jogging companion. Duke does well with a schedule, ideally a fenced yard, and owners who like to be active. He currently with fosters who leash walk him and do not have a fence, and he is doing well. He loves to accompany his owner room to room and would love a person who can check on him mid-day or be home frequently. He is quite the cuddle bug and is ready for a nap as much as he is up for hiking and adventures. He enjoys splashing around in a baby pool and has quite a fun personality. Duke is good with older children. He can be a bit too excited for younger kiddos. Duke has been fine around certain other dogs, but can sometimes be protective of his food/treats/toys. He would be great as an only pet. He is likely too much for felines. Duke is house trained and although he doesn't love being in the crate, it's what he needs when he is not being supervised when owners are away. Duke is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If interested, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $100.
