About Angel

Meet cute little Angel! She is a one year old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 7 pounds. Angel came from a household where there were a lot of dogs, but has possibly not had a lot of different human interaction or experience with things outside of her home in her young life. As a result she is a shy and timid little girl. Her prior owner was a man and she gravitated more quickly to her foster dad, and cuddled in his lap, but she is slowly coming around to the other family members in her foster home as she gets to know them. Angel has good energy and does well with other small dogs... and she will want to play! A home with another dog in it would be best for her since she has always been with other dogs and is comfortable with then. She has not been around cats or kids that we are aware of. We don't recommend a home with children, as they would probably scare her. Angel is housebroken does now how to use a doggy door. She is not leash trained and a fenced yard is required to keep her safe. At night she wants to sleep close to her person, but her foster mom has noticed that she has to have a night light on or she will whimper and is restless throughout the night. Angel is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. She will need a person or a family with patience to give her time to get to know and trust you. Once she does she will be your very best friend!
