About Foster Me!

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Happy, playful, bouncy, energetic and FUN are all words the shelter uses to describe Sylvie! This girl is 1 years old and just 35lbs. We think she might be part lab since she's very friendly and full of life! Sylvie would appreciate a home where she'll get lots of exercise and playtime! Another dog would be great for her too! Or maybe some kids to play fetch with! Sylvie is in the shelter and needs a foster home in IL to get out! Once she's in your home you do have the first choice to adopt! Foster to adopt is a great opportunity to get to know a dog before you decide to adopt! Please click on the link below (or copy/paste into your browser) and then click on download (often a downward arrow) This will open the application and you will be able to edit and save it to your own computer. Please complete it and return to [email protected] https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bFrv-qp8myfq5QWAjHNoXJBK0pdyjxS-/view?fbclid=IwAR2ioh0bKcfdNZXRJ7eCTwS55292vaqkospgwoSgLKXymoLOr0g3dSEc4g0 This dog is also available for our Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to be the family that greets them when they arrive in Illinois. Foster to Adopt families have the first option to adopt if you determine this is the pup right for you! While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately needs!) and a safe place to lay their head until they find a forever home. We also require that you have the ability to take the pup to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, Geneva, South Elgin, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in Geneva, South Elgin, and North Aurora. We also request that you bring the dog to our adoption events twice a month. These events are typically on Saturday from 10-1 Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog or puppy! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on their life. By becoming a foster you are saving 2 lives - the animal you bring into your home while he or she waits to be adopted, and the animal who gets to take your foster's place in the shelter. Please email [email protected] for a foster application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
