About Dexter

Dexter is a 65lb, 2 year-old boarder collie lab mix . He has a lot of energy and got along with other smaller dogs. He currently live part time with a 40 lb husky and 40 lb lab mix. Dexter is potty trained and kennel trained. He has some issues getting along larger dogs, especially while on leash. He has at times had some trouble getting along with our other dogs when food is present 'food territorial'. Kids are a mystery for Dexter and he doesn't know how to deal with them. Dexter knows basic commands but would benefit from more in-depth training. He loves to play fetch, fetch is life for dexter. He doesn't care about anything other than the ball when at the park and avoids other dogs when at all possible. He is very loving and will great you with a smile every time you come home. Dexter needs a wide open space to be able to run all day long, and should be an only dog. He has a lot of energy thank needs a healthy release. He isn't destructive and usually just lies around the house during the day or plays with a toy. Dexter is very smart and what to plesae. Energetic, smart, cautious, very attentive, affectionate.
