Please read entire listing before applying. Bunny is a 3.5 month old purebreed old English sheepdog puppy. She came to us from an akc breeder, but she does not have papers. She was turned over because her back right foot was broken when she was somewhere between birth and 5 weeks old. Exact details of the break are not clear. She was brought to us at 8 weeks, knuckling over for so long that she has a hole in her foot, exposed bone, and her tendon had pulled up and hardened. At our first vet visit prognosis was leg amputation. We had 2 more ortho surgeons give us advice and they said rehab is at least worth a shot, so we did, and we were able to save her leg, and heal her foot. She was infested with parasites and unvaccinated, all of which is now taken care of. She is crate trained and learning to potty outside. She is happy and loving, playful and curious. Great with other dogs, great with kids, great with cats. Personality for days. Because of the tendon being compromised she has a little limp/hop. It is not a joint injury, she has been xrayd and all of her joints are in good health and growing normally. Please visit our Facebook page for videos and info on Bunny's journey (we initially called her 'rabbit' because of her ears, but Bunny or BunBun fits her better). Her adoption fee is 1800, it offsets all her medical up to date, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, fecal exam, professional groom, and she will go home with an adoption kit that includes food, treats, toys, collar, and more. Apply at savemytail.org. if the listing is up, she is available.
