Kody has reportedly bitten numerous times in his previous home and has been difficult to handle in shelter with reports of lunging and snapping. Kody ACCT-A-70703 VIDEO: Kody getting some attention: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XmDRpXK5EA Intake: f (7/13) Owner Surrender - Reactivity and Medical issues Medical Observation: (7/14) Vet Check -- Patient had a fecal mat obstructing ability to defecate and perianal scalding that was very sensitive- even under sedation. Shaved mats, cleaned skin with dilute chlorhexidine, and applied derma-vet ointment. Will re-assess patient's behavior once more comfortable. Per Previous Owner -- constipation, difficulty moving around, excessive panting/out of breath, no longer can walk, not eating/drinking, having diarrhea, cries or moans when moving, does not play anymore, pees/poops indoors, cannot get up without help (seems like he can physically walk but is refusing to walk). Owner recently ran out of wet food and switched him to dry food which she thinks could have caused the constipation. Per previous owner -- Nervous, good with women, aggressive around food, walks well on leash, jumps on people sometimes, barks, snaps at people, separation anxiety, growls and barks at people, okay with owner's child. This animal was neglected with the previous owners and now has been sitting in a shelter for over 2 weeks with minimal medical care !
