Please know that we will ask for a vet reference. Creedence is a very sweet and handsome American Foxhound who needs a new family that will give him lots of room to run and play outside. He is a former hunting dog and is feeling sad not being able to do his hunting job anymore. Creedence was one of nine foxhounds that would go hunting in field trials. Since Creedence is blind and cannot go hunting with the other dogs anymore, he needs a loving home with a loving family so he can be spoiled with lots of attention. Please look at his sweet photo! Does anyone have room for him? Name: Creedence Age: 5 years old Breed: American Foxhound Sex: Male (not neutered ) Location: MS Vet Info: Creedence is not neutered but his owners are willing to have it done. He up to date on vaccines but has not had a heartworm test. He takes monthly heartworm prevention meds. He weighs 60 pounds. Creedence has an RPS retinal detachment. Otherwise, he is in good health. Owner Info: Creedence is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard. He is not house trained but is leash trained. He hasn't had formal obedience training but has had training as a hunting dog. He is a dog who likes just about anyone. He is good with men, women, kids, other dogs, and animals. He lives with 9 other Foxhounds, a Yorkie and a Jack Russell. He is never aggressive with people and is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. Creedence's owners feel he adapts well to new situations and tells us that he is a 'very sweet and humble dog.' His owners want us to know, 'He is beautiful for his breed. Could be a show dog for his breed he is so beautiful. Such a sweet dog. Wags his tail all the time and smiles. We love him but he needs to be in another setting. He is so sad when the other dogs get their tracking collars on to go hunting. He now just goes back into his house and lays down when they leave. Breaks my heart. Please help this wonderful dog.' **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
