About Howdy

Howdy is a 3 year old cattle dog mix who weighs 41 pounds. He came into the shelter as a stray so we are still getting to know him a little more. Right now he seems very sweet and affectionate. We don't know if he's been house trained or if he's had any basic training. We hope that any potential adopter is familiar with the breed and their needs to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. We want a home with no smaller children that he may want to 'herd' and no small animals. Unless you are super active we prefer a home rather than apartment for this breed of dog. Pup can come to the PNW with a pre-adoption which means getting your application in, approved and then paying the fee to secure him/her for yourself. There is no risk to pre-adoption as we do offer a 30 day money back trial period. The adoption fee covers medical, hw test, health certificate, mircochip and transport getting pup from the shelter in TX to the PNW.
