About Cujo

Cujo was obtained my Daughter's ex boyfriend and he has moved out but didn't take his dog. He got Cujo from the local animal shelter back in September or October of 2019. Cujo was initially depressed but eventually warmed up to my other all female dogs. He likes being the King of all the females. He is dominate over all the girls and he will defend his food. I care for my bedridden mother and my grandson so my time is limited as well as my resources. He needs to be groomed desperately and my groomer won't do until I have him under some medication. She said he was flopping around like a fish out of water and couldn't groom him. He really is great a dog for the right person... that person just isn't me. I already have three other dogs to care for and I didn't sign up to take care of him but of course I have because DD never did take care of him and he has now left him here with me. He does mind well and loves all humans. He has killed a small dog according to my daughter and her ex. So I wouldn't advise other small animals. I have cats that he doesn't bother while in the house but if he's outside... he will chase them. I thought I would try to keep him at first but It isn't fair to him. He really deserves someone who can give him more one on one time. I have been feeding Science Diet and I also make chicken and rice him which he loves.
