About Ava

This is my dog, Ava. She is an Australian Kelpie. I rescued her from the pound when she was a few weeks old. She's now two years old. I'm leaving to go to college in a few weeks and I can't take her with me. I need to find a good home for her to go to. She is an inside dog. She loves to run around outside, but loves to nap and sleep inside at night (she loves to cuddle). Her breed is known for being cattle dogs, although she is not trained for herding I believe that she would be great at it and love doing it. She is very skittish when she first meets people and other dogs, but once she knows you she is the sweetest and most playful dog. She loves to play with her toys and give hugs. I love her and it's going to be hard to part with her, but I just want her to go to a home where she'll be happy and loved. If anyone could give her a happy life with plenty of room to run and play I'd be all for it. Please share so I can find her a good home.
