About Bella

***Adoption Pending*** Bella was left alone in a house with only a kitty as a friend for 3 months, only being provided food every few days. Luckily, this was discovered by some good samaritans and signed over to HOHR. Due to this, Bella can be cautious around new dogs and will guard her resources so it would be best if she is an only dog. She is great with cats though and pays them no mind at all. She is mellow and loves to be loved on by people. Bella is a 48lb, 4-5year old, Golden Retriever/Labrador mix. She is crate, potty, and leashed trained, but does get a bit stressed in the car. She will require a fenced in yard as she may ignore you when she gets on a scent. Bella is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Ness City, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
