About Betsy

Poor Betsy has been on the run for a while now and is in serious need of some TLC and a good 15 to 20 lbs. Despite her condition she was super gentle with treats. She was extremely nervous and had to be carried outside, but once she relaxed she was all smiles and tail wags. She does get nervous from sudden movements. She just needs to gain some confidence and be with a family that loves her. She was great with other dogs and non-reactive to the cats. She is a super sweet girl well deserving of a family of her own! Betsy is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. She will be vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home. To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
