Shadow is 7 years old. He is an extremely smart dog, he knows sit, lay down, shake, sitting on chairs (outdoor chairs) like a human and he loves playing fetch. He does great on walks, and doesn't pull. Shadow has always been an outdoor dog, and he's what we like to call an 'escape artist'. We have built our fence higher than 6ft because he can scale 6ft, but he finds every which way to get out of the backyard. We have even tried large outdoor kennels but he has destroyed them. When we are not home he has to be chained up. For the past several months he has been experiencing major anxiety issues, pacing, panting and trying to escape the yard. His anxiety has resulted in breaking backyard items, and breaking a window. Once he is inside he is perfectly fine. I've learned that it seems he wants to be indoors at all times, with this being said we are looking for owners who want an INDOOR pet and are ok with the constant shedding that any dog has. Unfortunately, my husband will not allow him to be an indoor dog which has resulted me having to re-home him. This sadness me deeply as I love this dog dearly. He is house trained and has never destroyed any indoor items, only outdoors. I am hoping for him to be put in a home, either of male dominance, a family home, or even a home with another dog. He truly is a good dog.
