About Buddy

Buddy came to us after being outside of a woman's home for a few months. He was beat up and hungry. She took him under her wing but couldn't bring him in. Twice she thought she found him a home, but sadly, each time they passed him up. It's sad, really! Finally she contacted us and we agreed to take him in. We said we would come back in two days when space opened up. That day, Buddy was late to dinner. We told her to call as soon as he came. Two hours later Buddy showed up. He was bleeding by his ear. We felt so bad that were were not able to take him sooner. The vet fixed him, tested him (negative for FIV and FELV), vaccinated him and said he looked good. Well 10 days later that wound abscessed and he needed surgery again. Luckily he made a full recovery and is ready for a home! What a rough life and his life has just begun. Hopefully YOU can make the rest of his life the best! Buddy does seem leery of other cats at first. You would need to be a one cat household or transition him slowly so he doesn't feel stressed and anxious about your other cat! Do you blame him after all he has been through?! Buddy is the best cuddler ever and is one of the most affectionate cats you will ever meet! He lets you pick him up and hold him from the moment you meet him! You're just going to adore him!
