About Mosey

This little goober is Moe or Mosey. He's approx 1-1.5 y/o and 17#. He needs to put on a little weight and should fill out at about 20#. Mosey is neutered, utd on vaccs and chipped. We think he looks like a Heeler/Doxie blend. Mosey is super sweet and friendly but is somewhat timid with people when meeting them, but warms up quickly with a couple cookies. When he first arrived he would submissively pee if reached for too quickly and when meeting new people, but he is completely over that now. Mosey would benefit from another well balanced dog in the home. He now plays with other dogs and toys and has come out of his shell. He needs love and patience and a secure fenced in yard (and no apartments/shared walls). Kids over 12 y/o would be best if at all and he hasn't been cat tested but would probably be fine with a dog savvy cat. Mosey is potty trained but we recommend a refresher course in a new environment with a new routine. He LOVES to go for walks and does pretty well on the leash. Mosey likes to be near his people so a family who is not gone long hours would be best. Mosey does not love his crate and may bark quite a bit when in the crate. However, he hasn't been destructive when given free roam unattended.
