Meet Flower This sweet girl, Flower, is as beautiful as her name suggests. Flower was rescued from a high-kill shelter in the nick of time. She was set to be euthanized until we said we could give her safety. Flower is no longer in danger and we're so glad she is here with us. Flower arrived on July 17, 2020, along with four other dogs on her freedom ride for life. Since arriving, Flower has been a wonderful guest. She's a sweet, sweet dog. She's a one-year old Labrador/Terrier mix. She has a beautiful chocolate and white short coat, a well-shaped lab head, warm brown eyes and a happy grin. She's medium size at 49 lbs. She is an energetic young dog and likes to be with her people. Fact is, she craves attention and a kind hand and really LOVES being with her people. She's smart and affectionate. She'd do well with an active family or person. Flower seems like a happy dog. She walks well on a leash and enjoys being out and about. Flower seems to love being with other dogs and she is cat friendly, if not a little shy with them. She has a solid personality and is quietly confident. She loves being in the play yards where she can run and romp or simply lay in the sun. She isn't quite sure about jumping into a car yet, but once she's there, she absolutely loves to ride. If you let her ride shotgun, Flower will lie quietly with her head in your lap and give you occasional kisses. Flower is an absolute love and will make for a wonderful companion. We sure hope that this gorgeous girl finds a family of her own. A family where she'll be loved and cared for and never have to worry about losing her life again. If you're looking for your bestie, Flower may just be the one for you. We think she's pretty incredible.
